About the Role
Mixpanel's product marketing team is pivotal in launching new features, shaping messaging, and ensuring our products resonate with customers. We’re seeking a Product Marketing Manager who is customer-focused, skilled at research and content creation, and excels at bringing features to market. This person will work closely with product, sales, and broader marketing teams to execute go-to-market strategies, create content, and contribute to demand-generation campaigns.
This role focuses on creating compelling messaging, conducting market research, and driving sales enablement efforts, along with other core product marketing initiatives, to ensure our features meet market needs and support business growth. Responsibilities
- Go-to-Market Execution: Support the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies for new features and product enhancements.
- Messaging and Positioning: Develop clear, customer-centric messaging and positioning that highlights the value and differentiation of Mixpanel’s platform.
- Market, Competitor, and Customer Research: Conduct research to uncover customer pain points, market trends, and competitive intel. Use insights to inform product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement materials.
- Content Creation and Sales Enablement: Create high-quality collateral such as product briefs, use cases, and training materials to empower sales teams. Develop resources like battlecards, FAQs, and pitch decks to support feature adoption and sales efforts.
- Campaign Contribution: Partner with demand generation, content, and field marketing teams to contribute to integrated campaigns that drive feature awareness and adoption.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the performance of feature launches, adjusting strategies and messaging as needed to optimize impact.
- Customer-Focused Mindset: Advocate for the customer by bringing their voice into messaging and product-related initiatives.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing within B2B SaaS or analytics platforms.
- Experience with go-to-market planning, messaging, and launching features.
- Excellent writing and content creation abilities, with a focus on crafting compelling narratives.
- Strong research skills, with the ability to gather and analyze customer and market insights.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive alignment.
- Creative problem-solver with a customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering results.
Bonus Points:
- Knowledge of product analytics or similar tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude) is a plus

Compensation
The amount listed below is the total target cash compensation (TTCC) and includes base compensation and variable compensation in the form of either a company bonus or commissions. Variable compensation type is determined by your role and level. In addition to the cash compensation provided, this position is also eligible for equity consideration and other benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level and are benchmarked to the SF Bay Area Technology data cut released by Radford, a global compensation database. The range displayed represents the minimum and maximum TTCC for new hire salaries for the position across all of our US locations. To stay on top of market conditions, we refresh our salary ranges twice a year so these ranges may change in the future. Within the range, individual pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, qualifications, and other factors.
