BridgeCare’s software is a white-label data and case management system for government agencies in the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) sector.  It is made for organizations that support parents and ECCE providers, primarily licensed child care and public preschool programs.

There has never been a more exciting time to get involved with the childcare industry. Sparked by the pandemic, the US is making significant systematic progress towards increased access to early childhood education and care. This sector received $50B in stimulus funding and is experiencing rapid innovation and progress.

BridgeCare's software is customized to meet the unique needs of the ECCE sector:

• Increases family access to, and enrollment in, affordable child care 
• Supports child care providers with marketing programs, managing enrollment, and maintaining licensing status 
• Provides fully integrated government agency solutions to reduce administrative burdens 
• Gives real-time data insights for more effective policy and resource decision making 

The Role:

BridgeCare is a small but quickly growing technology company on a mission to reinvent the early care and education ecosystem. The Product Manager is a new role at BridgeCare. They will report directly to the Head of Product and work closely with our engineering team. Being a small company, it’s important that each team member fully owns their role and responsibilities. For this position, at a high level, the first year’s priority is owning the product release and working with the engineering team to address any bugs and unblock features. This role is client-facing and requires excellent communication skills, as BridgeCare is an enterprise solution for high-impact clients.

Within the first three to six months, a successful candidate for this role will get to know the team and product, familiarize themselves with historical user research, integrate themselves within the engineering team, and start managing product releases. They will understand the “ins and outs'' of the product, beginning to create a system for analyzing product metrics. We expect the Product Manager to conduct discovery research with users, define the strategy for prioritizing features, and contribute to the overall product roadmap. Our Ideal Candidate:

BridgeCare is looking for a self-starter who brings their own knowledge of best practices to the team.

Prior product management experience is required for this role. Any background in the early childhood care and education space or prior experience working with government agencies is a plus, but not required.

• Prior product management experience
• Prior experience working at a startup and in a B2B or govtech SaaS environment
• Ability to analyze and interpret data
• Fundamental technical knowledge (API, Webhooks, etc.) to streamline and strengthen communication with the engineering team
• Experience working side-by-side with engineers and designers to drive product development
• Leadership skills and ability to take initiative
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills
• Ability to run organized, efficient, and focused meetings
• Ability to keep projects moving along a timeline, hitting key milestones along the way

You Will:

• Identify new product opportunities in collaboration with customer success then work with the design and engineering team to bring features to life
• Help shape bundling strategies and product offerings alongside the sales teamDrive planning and prioritization to hit key deliverables while improving the overall product
• Establish and monitor analytics to uncover new product opportunities
• Define and track key metrics of shipped features
• Manage product release cycles

Salary: $120k-150k.Salary offers will be based on the candidate’s qualifications.
