Anaplan is looking for a passionate and visionary Senior Product Manager to own the creation and execution of a new automated testing platform capability. This is a new role that offers a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to envision, develop, and implement a framework from the ground up.
This person will be instrumental in providing the ownership, vision and delivery of a testing framework integrated into the Anaplan platform. It will be designed to enable business-owned automated testing of end to end functionality and performance of Anaplan applications, including both internal and partner-built solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management combined with sound technical knowledge of software testing processes and standard industry practices.
Core Responsibilities
- Define and drive the vision, strategy, backlog and roadmap for the Anaplan Solution Testing Framework.
- Take ownership of the framework's development and implementation, from initial concept to a fully operational service.
- Work with Product leadership and Engineering teams on roadmap and capacity planning to ensure successful delivery.
- Manage key stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment and support for the testing framework initiative.
- Understand the market and our customers, serving as the voice of the customer for all testing-related needs to ensure a customer-centric and business-owned outcome.
- Drive end-to-end experiences by writing detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria and working with engineering to deliver a high-quality framework.
- Create comprehensive enablement materials, including technical documentation, support guides, and training videos.
- Effectively collaborate across global teams to create alignment between engineering teams and other product stakeholders.
- Meet with customers, internal users, and partners to communicate the testing framework's vision, roadmap, and value proposition.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Product Manager in a technology-driven environment, preferably with experience in SaaS or enterprise software companies.
- Proven technical knowledge of software testing processes, automated testing of functionality, configuration, concurrency and performance.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of the product management lifecycle, from discovery and ideation to launching new products.
- Ability to translate complex user needs into actionable product requirements and a compelling product roadmap.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment and familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent organizational skills and experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Highly analytical with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and move easily between high-level strategy and low-level details.
- A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
