Product Manager, Asana for Service
at Asana
Warsaw, Poland
About the Role
Asana is building its next major business line: Asana for Service — a modern, AI-native platform designed to replace legacy ITSM and ESM tools for IT, HR, and Operations teams. We're looking for a strategic and senior Product Manager to own one of the most critical challenges in bringing this product to market.
As the third PM hire for the Asana for Service team, you will own the most critical challenges in bringing this product to market: helping organizations migrate to and successfully adopt Asana for Service—a critical pillar for our General Availability (GA) milestone in November 2026 and our longer-term agentic AI vision.
This is a high-impact, end-to-end ownership role. You'll define the strategy and ship the experiences that move customers off legacy tools like ServiceNow and Jira Service Management — covering ticket and knowledge base migration, onboarding flows, and the broader "time to value" journey. You'll also flex across the Service product as needed, contributing to our AI-native vision and GA milestone in November 2026.
This role is based in our Warsaw office with an office-centric hybrid schedule (standard in-office days: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday). Our employees in Poland are employed under a contract of employment.
What You’ll Achieve
- Own the migration and onboarding product strategy
- Work with platform partners to establish efficient, extensible patterns for building future connectors.
- Build the context "plumbing" for future agentic workflows, ensuring AI agents have the data access needed to take actions across systems like Okta, Workday, or Jira.
- Work in a boundaryless way across the Service team, stepping into other workstreams — AI deflection, ticketing core, integrations — where your expertise or bandwidth can accelerate the team.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, UXR, Data Science, CS, and PMM to deliver a cohesive, high-quality product. Bring clarity to complex, ambiguous spaces and keep the team moving with velocity.
- Develop tools to help customers migrate ticket history and KB content from legacy ITSM tools into Asana.
- As one of the first hires in the Warsaw office for this team, you will help shape the local culture and working style.
About You
- 6-8+ years of PM experience, with a track record of owning complex, high-stakes product areas end-to-end in B2B SaaS.
- Strategic independence. You don't wait to be handed a strategy - you conceive it, pressure-test it with customers and stakeholders, and drive it forward across teams. You operate effectively in highly ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Technical fluency. You're comfortable going deep on data models, APIs, migration pipelines, and tradeoffs with engineering. You can reason about what it takes to move structured and unstructured customer data safely and reliably.
- Customer obsession. You spend real time with customers, synthesize qual and quant signals, and use that understanding to make sharp prioritization calls. You can run enterprise conversations with both buyers and practitioners.
- Boundaryless mindset. You think Asana-first, not workstream-first. You identify gaps across the Service product, propose solutions, and aren't shy about diving in where the team needs you most.
- Exceptional communicator. Crisp async writing, clear storytelling, and the ability to align engineering, design, sales, and exec stakeholders - especially across time zones.
At Asana, we're committed to building teams that include a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills, as this is critical to helping us achieve our mission. If you're interested in this role and don't meet every listed requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
What we’ll offer
- Generous, transparent and fair compensation system
- Contract of Employment (and the option of 50% tax deductible costs for author’s rights usage in respect of applicable roles )
- Health insurance with dental and travel coverage (Lux Med)
- Meals reimbursement on the days that you work from the office
- Career growth budget
- Home office setup budget
- Gym/Fitness reimbursement
- Fertility healthcare and family-forming support with Carrot
- Mental Health Support in Modern Health
- Group life insurance
- MacBooks with all necessary accessories
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $25,000 - $31,000 PLN gross per month (subject to all taxes and necessary deductions). The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity and sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
