The Platform team showcases our dedication to crafting impactful products for daily and long-term investing at Robinhood. We cater to the needs of every customer type, from the day 1 novice to the high net worth investor.
As a Product Designer, ownership will be paramount in building upon the phenomenal design experiences Robinhood is known for. You'll have the opportunity to craft creative, magical experiences that wow our customers.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a team taking our experiences to the next level. The ideal candidate will be able to map out a diverse set of creative solutions and work with leadership to help craft the evolving landscape of our products.
This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; or Bellevue, WA office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do
- On the Platform team, we design for seamless money movement and customer care experiences. You'll be the Product Designer who guides the evolution of our growing portfolio of products.
- Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches.
- Partner closely with content design, research, engineering, product, and other cross-functional teams to find sophisticated but practical solutions to design challenges.
- Listen to customers and domain experts to develop the right product strategy and solutions that delight our customers.
- Rapidly explore a wide range of concepts and prototypes, then zoom in with precision to refine and deliver pixel-perfect designs.
- Proactively define and clarify outcomes, build a plan of action, and deliver the results (especially when outcomes are unclear).
- Navigate the complexities and constraints of data, legal, and tech dependencies to deliver top-notch user experiences without compromising user outcomes.
What you bring
- At least 2-3 years of experience in product design.
- Excellent portfolio that demonstrates love and care for craft.
- Curiosity and an ability to grasp complex subject matter.
- Ability to identify action items and move projects forward when facing ambiguity.
- Strong collaboration with your design team and cross-functional partners without ego.

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.
Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
