Riot Games

Producer - VALORANT Mobile, Monetization Support (Contract)

at Riot Games

Shanghai, China

Riot Games was established in 2006 by entrepreneurial gamers who believe that player-focused game development can result in great games. In 2009, Riot released its debut title League of Legends to critical and player acclaim. As the most played video game in the world, over 100 million play every month. Players form the foundation of our community and it’s for them that we continue to evolve and improve the League of Legends experience.

We’re looking for humble but ambitious, razor-sharp professionals who can teach us a thing or two. We promise to return the favor. Like us, you take play seriously; you’re passionate about games. We embrace those who see things differently, aren’t afraid to experiment, and who have a healthy disregard for constraints.

As a Producer supporting VALORANT Mobile monetization, you will help the team deliver high-quality commercial content and maintain a smooth collaboration process across Riot, co-development partners, and publishing stakeholders.

This role focuses on production support for monetization assets and workflows, including ported PC-to-Mobile assets, version documentation, and review process coordination for future commercial SKUs. You will help ensure that weapon skins, accessories, and other monetization-related assets are faithfully recreated on mobile while meeting VALORANT’s quality bar and player expectations.

You will work closely with Product Managers, artists, producers, co-dev partners, and publishing teams to track asset status, organize documentation, identify issues, and support clear decision-making. This is a hands-on production role for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about helping teams ship polished player-facing content.

Responsibilities

  • Support the review of ported monetization assets from VALORANT PC to VALORANT Mobile, including weapon skins, accessories, and other monetization assets.
  • Compare mobile asset implementation against PC references and help identify gaps in visual fidelity, authenticity, presentation quality, and overall player-facing experience.
  • Document asset review feedback clearly and track follow-up items with relevant stakeholders until issues are resolved or decisions are aligned.
  • Maintain clean and up-to-date documentation for each patch, including asset lists, review status, key decisions, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress.
  • Coordinate meetings, reviews, feedback loops, and follow-up actions across Riot and co-development partners.
  • Support the setup and iteration of review processes for future monetization SKUs, helping the team define clearer checkpoints, responsibilities, documentation standards, and approval flows.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in game production, project coordination, game operations, product operations, QA, art coordination, or a related role.
  • Experience supporting the delivery of game content, features, assets, or live service updates.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing visual assets, implementation quality, or version documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to maintain clear trackers, documentation, meeting notes, and follow-up action items.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively across Product, Art, Publishing, QA, and external or co-development teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple asset reviews, tasks, and stakeholders at the same time while keeping progress visible and actionable.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving development environment with changing priorities and incomplete information.
  • Experience with documentation and tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, Airtable, Notion, Google Sheets, or similar tools.
  • Fluent in Mandarin, with working proficiency in English for reading references, writing documentation, and participating in cross-team communication.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working on premium content, cosmetics, skins, accessories, or monetization-related content for a live service game.
  • Familiarity with VALORANT’s visual identity, weapon skins, accessories, cosmetics culture, and player quality expectations.
  • Experience comparing asset implementation across platforms, such as PC-to-Mobile, console-to-mobile, or regional version adaptation.
  • Experience working with artists, technical artists, or asset pipelines.
  • Prior experience working with external studios, co-development partners, or distributed teams.
  • Passion for tactical shooters, competitive games, or mobile games.

Employment Type: employment contract with FESCO Adecco, a professional personnel company in China.
