Lyft’s team in Montreal is growing, and we are seeking a Planning Analyst to support our continued scale and operational excellence. The Planning Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring we meet the demands of our bike-share customers through effective parts procurement, inventory planning, and supplier coordination.
In this role, you will manage purchase orders, transfer orders, and receipts within our ERP system (Oracle), while coordinating closely with suppliers to ensure timely fulfillment. You will also schedule replenishment deliveries to central warehouses, maintaining optimal inventory levels to support customer demand. Proactively identifying potential supply gaps and partnering with leadership to implement solutions will be essential to success.
This position requires strong collaboration across Sourcing, Operations, Production, Fulfillment, and Logistics teams. Effective cross-functional partnership and project management are key, including the development and continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, and templates that can be leveraged across the broader Planning organization.
Knowledge of material and work order flows in manufacturing strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management via accurate and timely systematic entry of orders in ERP system (Oracle).
- Rigorous review of supply plans to ensure accurate future inventory levels are maintained.
- Support all relevant functions in creating and communicating gap closure scenarios.
- Managing CTB (clear to build) with suppliers and contracted manufacturing partners closely to drive and track builds and delivery to distribution centers on time.
- Weekly meetings with international suppliers to follow-up on production schedules.
- Provide rolling forecasts to suppliers/manufacturers.
- Communication with key internal stakeholders such as the Sourcing and Operations/Sales teams regarding new assets and customer allocations.
- Collaboration with Accounting teams to assist suppliers with invoicing issues to ensure timely payments.
- Assist the Finance and Accounting teams with audits, inventory control, and reconciliations.
- Create reporting to support and help drive monthly business reviews (S+OP), highlighting impact on inventory needs and liabilities to management.
- Lead other special projects as needed.
- Limited travel to office, warehouses and vendors as required.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Planning or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in roles with Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Planning, Logistics, Distribution and/or Fulfillment.
- Knowledge of material flows in manufacturing.
- Advanced Excel or G-Sheet modeling and presentation skills.
- SQL, Power BI, or Statistical Modeling experience prefered.
- Oracle experience with Supply Planning and Procurement Models is a plus.
- Familiarity dealing with Asia based suppliers.
- Great organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-solving mindset with a team player and get-it-done attitude.
- Experience building from scratch, working cross-functionally, and managing commodities and processes.

The expected base pay range for this position in the Montreal area is CAD $57,600 - CAD $72,000, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
