Partner Engagement Director

The Engagement Manager will be responsible for owning the overall partner relationship from initiation to completion for Providence Health Plan (PHP), a large system owned health plan, ensuring successful delivery and fostering long-term relationships. This role requires a blend of strong project management skills, business acumen, and relationship-building expertise. The Partner Engagement Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for PHP leadership and our internal teams, driving project success and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of the PHP relationship, working in close collaboration with internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Serve as a primary senior contact for partner stakeholders, developing strong and trust-based relationships while ensuring alignment on operational priorities, experience goals, and performance excellence
  • Identify and define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Influence and align cross-functional teams across legal, client analytics, operations, product, and engineering to drive towards shared outcomes, while partnering closely with program management to provide strategic oversight of projects.
  • Serve as trusted advisor to senior internal leaders, including the C-Suite, synthesizing partner insights, risks, and opportunities to drive growth
  • Conduct post-engagement reviews to capture lessons learned and continuously improve delivery methodologies.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in project management, external (client or partner) facing roles, or consulting with relevant healthcare experience
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-level, multi-stakeholder, cross-functional engagements
  • Proven ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels
  • Proven experience managing complex projects and diverse teams.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Pay Transparency Statement

This job can be performed in a location where we have an office: San Francisco, CA, Lehi, UT, or Plano, TX, with the expectation of being in office at least two weekdays per week, or hired for remote work in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, MD, MA, MI, MN, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI.#LI-DNI

The actual pay rate offered within the pay range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to the salary, you will be eligible for 350,000 stock options and benefits like health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
