As the Annuity Specialist, you will be responsible for the comprehensive support and servicing of the TradePMR annuity line of business. This involves owning all operational processes, including transaction processing, customer service, records management, and contributing to strategic annuity projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid operational foundation in annuity products and demonstrated expertise in navigating insurance carrier workflows. This role is critical in delivering stellar client service by efficiently executing client requests and acting as the dedicated intermediary between annuity providers and our Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firms.
This role is based in our Clearwater, FL office. In-person attendance is expected 5 days per week during the first 6 months, and at least 3 days per week thereafter.

What you’ll do
- Operational Processing: Process all daily annuity servicing requests, including broker-dealer change requests and supporting large-scale business transitions.
- Client & Advisor Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) clients, assisting with complex requests such as annuity distributions, reallocations, and rider information inquiries.
- Communication: Provide accurate, valid, and complete information to advisor and client inquiries while following communication guidelines and compliance policies and procedures.
- Carrier Liaison: Act as the key intermediary with annuity carriers, routinely following up on pending items, retrieving essential data (e.g., contract trail, third-party authorizations), and coordinating service agreements for new carriers.
- Data Integrity & Reconciliation: Perform regular book of business reconciliations, update client contract values, and review business mixes.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all TradePMR licensing is current and manage the retrieval and secure uploading of critical annuity documents (e.g., quarterly statements, tax documents) to the internal system (Fusion).
- Reporting: Maintain reports detailing key metrics, including Assets Under Management (AUM), trail information, and status of current initiatives.
- Project Support: Provide ad hoc support for major business transitions and collaborate with the product team on special projects related to the annuity line of business.
What you bring
- Exceptional attention to detail and proven accurate data entry skills are required.
- Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and contribute to the crafting and implementation of solutions.
- Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting basic contractual language quickly and accurately.
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills that reflect a high level of integrity and commitment to excellent customer service.
- Ability to form strategic relationships by focusing on the needs of our advisors and their clients.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Thrives in a collaborative team environment while demonstrating the capacity to work independently.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct customer service experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of back-office operations experience in the financial industry.
- FL 2-15 or the ability to obtain it within the first 120 days of employment.
- SIE and Series 7 Licenses preferred, but not required.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected hourly range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one compensation zone. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan.
