About the Team
The Collaboration Platform team builds the foundation for how Postman users work together. The team is responsible for enabling seamless collaboration in Postman across multiple user journeys. With more than 40M users on our platform, this team is responsible for solving challenges in API collaboration across multiple pillars like API development, testing, prototyping, discovery, distribution & change management. The team owns tier-0/1 business-critical systems handling, which enables seamless collaboration in Postman. The work of this team directly impacts Postman’s end users, experience and business in multiple ways, thereby contributing towards our larger organization goals like Monthly Active Users, Self-serve revenue & Sales-serve revenue.
What you will do
As a Newmanaut, you will focus on mastering the fundamentals of writing clean, efficient, and maintainable production-level code. As a member of the collaboration platform team, you will work alongside senior engineers who will mentor you on technical skills, product thinking, and engineering best practices.
This is an opportunity to learn by doing, grow into a world-class software engineer, and contribute to features that directly impact millions of developers globally.
Your responsibilities will include:

Work with senior engineers in your pod to deliver features across collaboration modules.

Write clean, testable, maintainable production code under guidance.

Contribute to ongoing and future projects of the collaboration core platform.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality releases.

Learn system design, best practices, and Postman’s engineering culture through mentorship and real-world projects.
What We’re Looking For

Fresh out of college or with less than 1 year of professional engineering experience.

Strong fundamentals in Computer Science (Data Structures, Algorithms, OOP, Databases, Networking).

Familiarity with web development and backend development.

Willingness to learn, adapt, and take feedback.

Curious to understand product and customer impact.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Nice to Have

Exposure to API development or usage.

Prior internship or project experience with full-stack applications.
This position requires you to be present in our Bangalore office on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays.
