About the role

Bring anime to fans worldwide, on time and in the languages they love. As Manager of Scheduling Operations, you'll oversee content scheduling activities that ensure titles launch smoothly across SVOD, AVOD, EST, and theatrical platforms. Based in Los Angeles and reporting to the Senior Manager, Scheduling Operations, you will act as the operational link between media supply, programming, and content delivery—ensuring schedules comply with rights restrictions and global launch strategies.

What You'll Do

  • Manage daily global scheduling operations and ensure timely, accurate updates across all platforms.
  • Translate content acquisition contracts into executable release timelines in compliance with regional rights windows.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Content Acquisition, Programming, Localization, and Delivery teams to maintain alignment.
  • Maintain scheduling tools and databases (e.g., Airtable, Rightsline), ensuring metadata accuracy and rights compliance.
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement improvements to enhance operational productivity.

We are considering applicants available to work a hybrid schedule, with three days each week onsite at our Los Angeles office.

About You

We get excited about candidates, like you, because...

  • 5+ years of experience in media, entertainment, or digital streaming operations, including scheduling or rights management.
  • Strong understanding of content rights management systems and experience with Rightsline or similar tools.
  • Proven ability to interpret contracts, manage complex schedules, and align stakeholders around global release timelines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with an analytical, process-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable working across time zones and coordinating with international partners.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

About the Team

Scheduling Operations is a newly formed team within Content Operations, built to power Crunchyroll's global programming goals. We ensure our content launches on time, in the right language, and in the right markets. Every detail counts, because for our fans and our content partners, accuracy and timeliness are everything.

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, employer matched retirement savings, time-off programs, and progressive health benefits and perks.
