We are looking for a Learning Specialist to join our team to help facilitate new hire training and ongoing up-skilling training. All Learning Specialists should instill and encourage the Collective Health culture and values in all training interactions.
What you'll do:
- Facilitation
- Participate in all equipment pickup mornings for all new hire classes (based on location)
- Act as the face of Collective Health for the new hires and demonstrate our culture, values, and professionalism in all training interactions
- Partner with IT, HR, and stakeholders to support onboarding days
- Virtually and in-person solo-facilitate or co-facilitate five-week new hire training programs (often back-to-back throughout the year)
- Attend all required in-person days and additional training days as needed
- Facilitate annual and spot upskilling sessions for tenured employees
- Continuously strengthen facilitation skills using team and leader feedback
- Cross-train into multiple lines of business as needed
- Support peers by assisting with prep, coordination, and serving as an SME when appropriate
- Project Management
- Oversee coordination and logistics of training classes, including scheduling, calendar management, invites, room/tech setup, nesting/shadowing schedules, and materials prep
- Partner with stakeholders to review progress, address challenges, and align on training goals
- Provide clear communications and documentation (agendas, debriefs, readouts) to stakeholders and partners
- Serve as the primary point of contact for training-related questions, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
- Collaborate with HR and stakeholders to support sensitive new hire issues with professionalism
- Maintain accurate training records and data to support reporting needs
- Instructional Design & Material Updates
- Contribute to curriculum improvement, keeping curriculum up to date, meeting deadlines for assigned updates, and collaborating with stakeholders to complete updates
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Facilitation & Presentation Skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage diverse learners and adapt techniques to different learning styles
- Confidence and stamina in facilitating long, training sessions
- Skilled at conducting both supportive and disciplinary conversations with new hires during training
- Proficient in English (Spanish is a plus)
- Project Management & Organizational Skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Google Suite and Zoom
- Ability to coordinate logistics (schedules, calendars, technology, materials) with attention to detail
- Comfortable taking ownership as the main point of contact
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders and cross-functional partners
- Ability to handle sensitive new hire issues with professionalism and discretion
- Team player who provides peer support and serves as an SME when needed
- Instructional Design & Continuous Improvement
- Desire to design thoughtful, high-quality curriculum and learning environments
- Basic knowledge of modern corporate training techniques
- Ability to analyze survey and performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Critical thinker who can make bold, informed recommendations
- Desire for continuous personal learning and professional skill building
- Commitment to creating a world-class training experience
- Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in a training or teaching position
- Basic knowledge of the latest corporate training techniques
- Proficient time management and organizational skills
- Experience in healthcare
Pay Transparency Statement
This is a hybrid position based out of our Lehi office, with the expectation of being in office at least two weekdays per week. #LI-hybrid
The actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to the salary, you will be eligible for stock options and benefits like health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
