Lead Product Manager, Agent Handler

We’re hiring a Lead Product Manager to lead product for Agent Handler, Merge’s newest bet in the agentic AI ecosystem.

This role is for someone who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and knows how to turn constant change into clear product direction. The AI landscape is evolving weekly. New capabilities, patterns, and expectations are emerging in real time. You should be someone who is deeply engaged with that pace and can translate it into strong product instincts, sharp prioritization, and momentum for the team.

Agent Handler sits at the intersection of AI agents, integrations, and developer infrastructure. The opportunity is large, but the space is noisy and still taking shape.

The hardest part of this role is deciding what actually matters. Customer requests, model capabilities, and ecosystem trends will constantly pull in different directions. Your job is to cut through that noise, form strong opinions, and focus the team on the few things that will drive real impact.

If you want to help define product direction in an emerging category and push a team to move quickly without lowering the bar, this is the role.

What you will do:

• Own Agent Handler product direction and execution across discovery, prioritization, shipping, and iteration
• Focus the team on the 1 to 2 bets that matter most, even when everything else feels urgent
• Translate fast-moving market signals, customer needs, and technical possibilities into clear product decisions
• Partner closely with engineering and design to scope and ship high-quality experiences quickly
• Stay deeply connected to customers, prospects, and the broader AI ecosystem
• Drive crisp decision-making with clear tradeoffs and strong reasoning
• Raise the bar on speed and clarity through your own execution
• Create momentum and clarity that energizes the team around what to build next

• Technical fluency: You are comfortable operating in highly technical product spaces and can partner deeply with engineering on APIs, systems, and tradeoffs.
