As a Lead Client Account Manager, you'll influence the marketing strategy on Pinterest of our Mid Market clients. Your strategic direction will drive value for millions of Pinners who come to Pinterest daily, seeking inspiration and needing our partners’ products & services to take action. Build relationships with key stakeholders across complex organizations, and drive value by using data insights within the business and across the marketing funnel. Optimize campaigns and ensure best practices are being used to drive the best outcome for our clients. Comfort working at scale across a diverse set of clients.
What you'll do:
- Retain, grow and diversify the value delivered to our partners ultimately growing Pinterest revenue as a result.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners’ teams (executive, operational, creative, measurement and agency), resulting in trusted advisorship.
- Execution of GTM strategies across the portfolio of clients at scale.
- Advocate internally for the solutions required to drive business outcomes for these advertisers, working across internal teams such as Measurement & Insights, Product Marketing, Creative Strategy, etc.
- Gain a deep understanding of our partners’ business goals and turn data into compelling stories and actionable insights to help them succeed.
- Work with clients and agencies to cross sell and upsell opportunities that contribute to the team's ability to exceed revenue targets.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience managing lower funnel campaigns, very deep performance rigor, data and analytics management.
- Proven track record (case studies) of bringing to life “never been done before” activations.
- Data-driven mindset, excel savvy, extract insights from numbers and draw patterns & observations.
- Proactive and always thinking ahead and anticipating obstacles to solve.
- Challenger seller, not afraid to speak up for what is right, be firm and engage in conversation with clients to reach their goals (not a yes-person).
- Self-starter who holds self and others accountable, and manages daily responsibilities with limited oversight.
- Process-oriented individual who gets energy from going deep with data.
- Experience building and executing strategic learning agendas and owning client communication.
- Clear and concise communicator, who can simplify complex topics to drive clear action.
- Track record of compelling data-backed storytelling and recommendations.
- A team player who’s able to work in a fast-paced environment with technical and non-technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business administration or sales management, or equivalent experience.
In-Office Requirement Statement:
- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office or in-market 3 times per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from our Chicago office.
Working Expectations:
- In-market focused sales team focused on velocity, expect to be traveling in market 50% of the time
