The Role:
At SoFi, we are redefining the way financial services power human potential and we know that great technology management is at the heart of that mission. We are building a world-class IT Asset Management (ITAM) program on ServiceNow, with a dedicated track in Hardware Asset Management (HAM). We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic HAM Lead to define and drive our Hardware Asset Management function.
In this critical role, you will be a leader who has built and scaled HAM practices in complex enterprise environments and will support the ITAM lead to create a best-in-class ITAM ecosystem that ensures compliance, optimizes costs, and supports SoFi’s dynamic growth. You will bring deep expertise in ServiceNow HAM Pro and its integration with systems of records for asset lifecycle.

What You’ll Do
- Define and document the HAM policy, process, procedures and controls
- Define a HAM process aligned with ITIL and CSDM: Align HAM to enterprise priorities, regulatory requirements, and audit frameworks.
- Manage the day to day HAM process: Ensure process is followed, monitor breaches, provide metrics and reporting.
- Provide HAM outcomes for inclusion in the ITAM roadmap: Define and deliver a compelling ITAM product strategy within the ServiceNow platform.
- Define HAM KPIs and ensure completeness and accuracy of the HAM repository
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Build strong partnerships with cybersecurity, engineering, compliance, and business stakeholders to align on strategy and priorities.
- Champion Continuous improvement: Utilize analytics, user feedback, and reporting tools to continuously enhance ITAM processes.
- Safeguard Compliance and Data Integrity: Ensure all HAM processes meet industry standards (SOX, ISO, etc.) and support audit requirements.
What You Bring
- Minimum 5 years of specialized experience in IT Asset Management, with a strong focus on Hardware Asset Management.
- Background in Financial services or regulated industries strongly preferred
- 3+ years of direct experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager within ServiceNow, specifically leading HAM modules (ServiceNow HAM Pro expertise preferred).
- Deep understanding of ITAM best practices, hardware lifecycle management, and compliance frameworks.
- ServiceNow Administrator certification (or equivalent ITAM certifications, especially focused on HAM).
- Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative, cross-functional mindset.
- Analytical expertise paired with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) is highly desirable.
- Experience in ServiceNow development or integrations with systems such as endpoint management, CI discovery, or access control tools is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
