Industry Partner Lead, Healthcare & Life Sciences
at Databricks
San Francisco, Seattle, Washington DC, United States
RDQ427R158
As the Industry Partner Lead for Healthcare and Life Sciences (HLS), you will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and scaling a global partner ecosystem that makes Databricks the premier platform for data-and-AI-intensive HLS workloads. You will own the strategy and execution for top ISVs across the healthcare and life sciences ecosystem.
We are looking for a leader who has "seen the movie" within HLS, ideally having spent time at a major cloud hyperscaler or a leading HLS-specific software vendor. This role requires a rare blend of deep domain expertise and GTM acumen. You will sit at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and the Field, ensuring that when a Life Sciences company or Health System chooses Databricks, they have a seamless, integrated ecosystem of partners to accelerate their time-to-value.
The Impact You Will Have
- Strategy & Prioritization: Define and execute the HLS ISV partnership strategy, segmenting the market across BioPharma, Provider, Payer, and Medical Devices.
- Ecosystem Building: Own executive relationships with key HLS partners to drive technical integrations and joint field execution.
- Product Collaboration: Partner with Product and Regulatory/Compliance teams to ensure partner integrations meet the rigorous security and "fit-for-purpose" standards required for clinical and genomic data.
- Value Proposition: Build joint GTM motions that resonate with HLS business personas
- Field Enablement: Work with Sales leadership to design co-sell plays and incentives that help our account teams solve complex industry use cases through partner solutions.
- Market Representation: Act as a thought leader at industry forums to establish Databricks as the backbone of the modern HLS data stack.
What We Look For
- Domain Expertise: 10+ years in product partnerships or business development, with at least 7 years deeply embedded in the Healthcare and Life Sciences technology ecosystem.
- Proven Track Record: Success launching ISV integrations and GTM motions that have delivered measurable partner-sourced revenue in the HLS space.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the HLS data landscape
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to influence internal Product and Engineering teams to prioritize HLS-specific features (e.g., data privacy/de-identification) that unblock partner integrations.
- Executive Presence: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build "C-suite ready" narratives for leaders at global pharmaceutical companies and massive health networks.
- Technical Literacy: A solid understanding of cloud data architectures and AI/ML lifecycles.
