Role Overview
The Growth Marketer will focus on driving growth of signups and pipeline, primarily through inbound channels. They will own key inbound channels, including SEO/GEO, social, referrals, and product virality.
What Does Success Look Like?
Success in this role includes:
- Growing monthly product signups, both from marketing channels (SEO, social, referrals), as well as product viral loops
- Hitting pipeline and revenue targets from key Marketing channels for both SS and DS
- Improving SS funnel performance across key milestones, including onboarding, activation and “ah ha”
Success definition: First 90 days
- Deep understanding of ICP, personas (buyer and user), and buyer journey (SS and DS)
- Audit of growth opportunities - understands which channels efficiently drive signups today, and has developed a growth plan focusing on 3-5 key growth channels / levers.
- Has achieved 2-3 “quick wins.” Executed on obvious opportunities to drive growth or optimize the funnel
Profile
This role is a junior position on the Marketing team. We are looking for marketers with 2-4 years of experience at a B2B SaaS company. PLG experience is strongly desired, but not mandatory. The ideal candidate will come from a growth marketing, demand generation (as long as it’s not exclusively paid channels), lifecycle, or Marketing ops background. As a more junior position, we expect the marketer in the role to only operate semi-autonomously, collaborating closely with Danny, VP of Marketing and other members of the marketing team.
Candidates should have experience with:
- Acquisition marketing through organic channels, including SEO, organic social, and referral programs
- Full funnel marketing, and buyer-journey optimization
- Using Marketing-tech and AI aggressively in search of marketing. Candidates will need to demonstrate how they’ve used tools innovatively to achieve outcomes or scale (e.g. vibecoding).
- Working with and managing external resources to efficiently and effectively drive outcomes
Role Responsibilities
- Integrated campaign development and execution
- Organic inbound channels - SEO / GEO, organic social (LinkedIn, YouTube, X.com, Reddit), referrals, partnerships, and email marketing.
- Paid channels - performance channels, sponsorships, and events
- Full funnel optimization, including website conversion, user onboarding and activation
- Email nurturing, and email newsletters
- Analysis and reporting of performance across campaigns and channels
