The Role:
SoFi is seeking an IT Administrator! This position is primarily focused on IT Administration and Desktop Support for internal team members and contractors. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Be self-motivated and organized: This includes planning and prioritizing your own tasks, working until the job is completed, and taking ownership of your work.
This role is based in-person in the Sacramento Valley Area.
What You’ll Do:
- Must be able to commute to offices/branches in Sacramento, Yuba City, and Live Oak - sometimes on the same day
- Manage and optimize corporate software systems.
- Provide prompt, effective technical support and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Lead IT projects focused on standardization and infrastructure improvements.
- Deliver technical support and training on IT systems to staff (in-person and remotely)
- Coordinate resources and timelines across multiple locations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Infrastructure, Network, and IAM teams.
- Create and maintain clear, accessible documentation for IT procedures, automations, and system configurations, enabling teammates across all levels to easily understand and use them.
What You’ll Need:
Technical Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on IT systems administration experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with network management, including LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, Switches, and Firewalls
- Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, including firewalls, encryption, and endpoint management solutions
- Proven track record in managing IT projects, including system upgrades and new implementations
- Managing users in an Okta or similar SSO environment.
- Windows Azure and Intune administration
- Experience with Meraki Console, Aruba Central, or Ruckus One

- Experience with Jira for task tracking
- Service Now or Jira Service Management
- Scripting and automation skills
- Previous fintech or regulated industry experience
