About the role
This Finance Manager will focus on Strategic Projects and Reporting for the Devices organization. This role will play a crucial part in driving strategic projects that will shape decision-making for the overall Devices business at Roku. You will put together analyses to help the business better understand key drivers of performance and communicate outcomes across a portfolio of business units. With this unique lens that looks across the Devices business, you will also play a large role in helping to shape the Devices narrative to Roku leadership.
This function will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders across FP&A, sales, product, operations, and analytics. This is a great opportunity to join a fast growing, impactful team that will play a critical role in shaping the future growth of Roku. This role will be based out of the San Jose HQ.
For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $136,000 - $191,000 annually.
Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

What you’ll be doing
- Develop standardized rate, mix, volume framework that can be applied across business units to distill performance into key actionable drivers
- Perform scenario analyses to evaluate investment allocations, tradeoffs, and resulting impact on key outcome metrics (unit volume, active accounts, market share)
- Create a unit economics model that allows for profitability analysis to be performed across business units, retailers, and SKUs
- Collaborate closely with the broader FP&A team to craft executive-level narratives and presentations for senior management, connecting results and key metrics for comprehensive performance explanations and forward-looking projections
- Produce and distribute recurring and ad hoc management reports, ensuring financial reporting accuracy and timeliness. Drive the continued development of standardized reporting and presentations across the business.
- Work cross functionally to develop, track and analyze KPIs across various parts of the business
We’re excited if you have
- 7+ years of prior experience, ideally in strategic finance or corporate finance at a high-growth tech company, investment banking/private equity, or consulting
- Proficient in deciphering complex business drivers, delivering high-quality analytics and reporting, and communicating effectively
- Self-starter who can efficiently manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines and drive projects to completion, with a keen eye for prioritization
- Drive change by implementing new processes and reporting solutions in a rapidly evolving environment
- Ability to work with large and messy data sets
- Comfort with a cyclical workload that peaks around key corporate deliverables (close, forecast cycles, board meetings).
- Desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Bonus Experience: Tableau, Looker, SQL, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, NetSuite
