The Brokerage Product Finance team supports the largest P&L at Robinhood and is responsible for financial stewardship of the company’s core trading and interest margin products: equities, options, margin lending, securities lending, and uninvested cash. We collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations to inform strategy and decision-making through data and insights.
As a Finance & Strategy Analyst, you will help drive the financial planning and analysis efforts that guide product development, operating decisions, and resource allocation. You’ll play a key role in expense forecasting, headcount planning, and supporting recurring reporting and variance analyses. You’ll partner cross-functionally to align on budgets, understand cost drivers, and contribute to process improvements that enhance data accuracy and reporting standardization. You’ll also contribute to strategic business cases through financial modeling and insights!
This role is based in our New York, NY office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual OpEx and headcount planning cycles, ensuring alignment with budgets and reconciliation with actuals

Maintain, update, and improve financial reporting packages and variance analyses to highlight key trends, risks, and opportunities

Partner with business stakeholders on cost center and vendor spend management and assist with ad-hoc analyses

Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance reporting accuracy and standardization across the team

Assist in preparing financial models and data-driven recommendations to support strategic initiatives and new business cases
What you bring

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field

1–2 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or similar roles

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and surface insights

Proficiency in spreadsheet and presentation tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, Google Slides)

A detail-oriented, curious mindset with a positive attitude and a desire to grow in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with SQL, Looker, or Anaplan is a plus

Interest in consumer technology and/or financial services—especially brokerage—is a bonus

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.
Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones.
