The Federal Business Development Director – Homeland Security and Law Enforcement will drive growth across the federal civilian and law enforcement sectors, with a focus on homeland security, public safety, and justice-related organizations. This individual will identify and develop new opportunities, build trusted relationships, and position the company as a key mission partner supporting national resilience and security.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the homeland security and law enforcement community.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and partners.
- Collaborate with capture, technical, and delivery teams to align solutions with client mission needs and priorities.
- Contribute to go-to-market strategies and account planning to expand presence and long-term growth.
- Stay informed on procurement processes, budget priorities, and market developments.
- Represent the organization at industry events and government engagements to build visibility and trust.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of business development experience within federal homeland security or law enforcement markets.
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition, procurement, and contracting processes.
- Demonstrated success driving growth and influencing complex, high-value opportunities.
- Established relationships and credibility within the homeland security and law enforcement community.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Operates effectively as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
