We’re looking for an Experiential Manager to join the team within the House of Creative – Pinterest’s award-winning in‑house creative team. Our team brings the Pinterest brand to life through events, experiences, and programming. You’ll help develop and execute experiential programs that drive comprehension of Pinterest, deepen brand love, and build advocacy for Pinterest as a content, advertising, and shopping platform. To be successful in this role, you’ll be a hands‑on doer, problem‑solver, and collaborator who thrives in a fast‑paced, positive environment and takes pride in delivering high‑quality, on‑brand experiences.
What you’ll do:
- Own and execute experiential programs end‑to‑end – from planning and pre‑production through on‑site execution and post‑event debriefs and reconciliation – ensuring every touchpoint aligns to key messaging, brand standards, and business goals within a defined scope.
- Contribute to creative development for events and experiences, partnering with designers, writers, and strategists to help shape concepts that translate product and brand stories into impactful activations.
- Maintain a high bar for craft and quality, ensuring that agency and vendor output meets Pinterest’s brand guidelines, experiential principles, and project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Comms, Policy) to surface insights and help craft compelling stories and attendee journeys for regional and, at times, global audiences.
- Manage agencies, timelines, budgets, and project workstreams for your programs; provide clear, timely, and precise updates to cross‑functional stakeholders and escalate risks or trade‑offs when needed.
- Support production craft across key elements such as talent, venues, production design, activations, merchandise, and partnerships, ensuring deliverables are feasible, on‑brand, and logistically sound.
- Build and track project budgets across vendors; make sound, timely recommendations and help maintain accountability for scope, cost, time, and quality.
- Coordinate and contribute within project teams or smaller pods, helping to align roles, timelines, and deliverables, and ensuring smooth collaboration across partners.
- Support contract and vendor management, including scoping, bidding, and day‑to‑day oversight, ensuring partners deliver high‑quality work against agreed parameters.
- Present project plans and updates to stakeholders; participate actively in reviews, synthesize feedback, and help keep teams inspired, aligned, and focused on delivering great work.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate planning and performance, finding operational efficiencies while also building frameworks that enable us to scale our impact.
What we’re looking for:
- A proven track record owning and executing experiential programs that translate product and brand stories into impactful activations, ideally across multiple markets or regions.
- 6+ years of experience event production experience, ideally gained through a mix of agency and in‑house roles.
- Strong program/project management skills, including building and managing scopes, timelines, RFPs, vendor coordination, risk identification, and post‑event evaluation.
- Solid, hands‑on production knowledge and acumen – from fabrication and staging to logistics and on‑site operations – and comfort navigating constraints with practical solutions.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills and experience working directly with internal partners and agencies; ability to set expectations, communicate trade‑offs, and maintain trust.
- Clear, confident communication and presentation skills, with the ability to walk partners through plans, respond to feedback, and represent your work in reviews.
- Someone with a strong creative point of view who contributes thoughtful, on‑brand ideas, thinks beyond the obvious when bringing the Pinterest brand to life, and takes pride in creating visually compelling, memorable experiences.
- Candidates should be comfortable leveraging AI tools in day-to-day work to improve efficiency, performance and outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, or equivalent experience.
