Enterprise Security Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on and collaborative Enterprise Security Engineer to help mature and expand Five9’s Enterprise and IT Security program. In this role, you will be a key contributor to securing Five9’s corporate infrastructure, SaaS applications, and workforce technologies. You’ll partner closely with IT, Identity, and cloud operations teams to implement security controls, monitor posture, and remediate risks—ensuring that our enterprise environment remains resilient against evolving threats.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM): Continuously assess and monitor the organization’s SaaS applications for misconfigurations, excessive permissions, and deviations from security best practices.Partner with development teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and champion secure coding practices
• Identity & Access Management (IAM): Administer and enforce access controls across SaaS and IT systems, including SSO, MFA, SCIM provisioning, and role-based access policies to ensure least privilege.Deliver clear, data-driven reports to stakeholders and leadership, highlighting security trends, remediation progress, and residual risks
• IT Security Operations: Support endpoint, network, and cloud security posture by managing policies and coordinating remediation with IT teams.

 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in enterprise security
• Familiarity with enterprise IT environments: Windows, macOS, Linux, Active Directory/Entra ID, endpoint management (e.g., Intune, Jamf).
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), including SSO, MFA, SCIM provisioning, and conditional access.
• Strong ability to work with data using Excel, SQL, Python, or data visualization platforms to identify trends and present findings
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex issues in simple terms to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence across teams
• Proven track record of handling sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a regulated industry, especially financial services or telecom
• Familiarity with US and International regulatory compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, SOC2, etc.
