About the team

Our APAC Marketing mission is to engage priority audiences through impactful and relevant marketing campaigns and events, to drive growth in adoption of Stripe’s solution offerings across the region. Our Greater China Marketing mission is to partner closely with the Go-To-Market (GTM) organization, including Sales, Sales Development, Solutions Architects, Partnerships, and others. The team’s focus is to grow and acquire the accounts across segments that are global expanders (cross border organizations with headquarters in China), and engage with audiences at each stage of the customer lifecycle journey. What you’ll do

As the Industry Field Marketing Manager, Greater China, you will own the end-to-end field marketing strategy for priority industries, delivering high-quality leads, sales pipeline, and revenue contribution. You will operate as a regional marketing owner, partnering closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales Development, Comms, and agency resources to execute scalable, insight-driven programs.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and lead the Greater China industry marketing strategy, owning end-to-end field marketing programs to support priority verticals across the region.
  • Drive measurable impact across the full sales funnel, including pipeline creation, deal acceleration, customer acquisition, expansion, and long-term engagement within defined industry segments.
  • Build deep, trusted partnerships with Industry Sales, SDR, and Solutions Architecture teams; co-develop vertical GTM plans with sales leadership and ensure disciplined pipeline follow-through.
  • Partner closely with APAC Demand Generation and Product Marketing to refine industry-specific targeting, segmentation, and messaging; scope, produce, and localize compelling content and campaigns tailored to executive buyers, technical stakeholders, and line-of-business leaders.
  • Design and execute full-funnel industry marketing motions, including digital campaigns, content-led programs, account-based marketing (ABM), executive roundtables, webinars, industry forums, third-party conferences, and curated in-person field events.
  • Translate Stripe’s platform capabilities—including payments, financial infrastructure, APIs, and ecosystem partnerships—into differentiated, industry-relevant value propositions aligned to sector-specific trends and regulatory considerations.
  • Develop and nurture strategic industry ecosystems, including partners, associations, media platforms, and solution collaborators to expand reach and influence within target verticals.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate program performance with rigor; continuously optimize programs for efficiency, scale, and revenue impact while contributing best practices to the broader APAC and global industry marketing playbook.
  • Bring strong market insight to identify emerging industry trends, competitive dynamics, and whitespace opportunities, positioning Stripe as the leading financial infrastructure partner within key verticals.

 

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for this role. Preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience, with strong focus on industry marketing, field marketing, ABM, or demand generation, including 5+ years focused on the Greater China market.
  • Proven experience marketing to enterprise or mid-market customers within defined industry verticals (e.g., technology, internet, SaaS, fintech, retail, manufacturing, or cross-border commerce).
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute regional B2B industry marketing strategies in China that deliver against full-funnel metrics, including pipeline creation, acceleration, and expansion.
  • Hands-on experience with industry content development, executive engagement programs, vertical events, ecosystem partnerships, and multi-touch campaigns.
  • Native or fluent Mandarin required; strong English proficiency preferred, given cross-regional collaboration.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills, with a track record of working closely with Industry Sales, SDRs, Solutions Architecture, and regional stakeholders through joint planning and execution.
  • Experience operating as a regional marketing owner while partnering with centralized APAC Demand Generation and Product Marketing teams, effectively leveraging shared resources to scale vertical programs.
  • Solid understanding of CRM systems, funnel reporting, and data-driven marketing execution; familiarity with ABM frameworks and enterprise buying motions.
  • Singapore location required, with responsibility for marketing to Greater China industries remotely and travel as needed.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience marketing platform, API-driven, SaaS, fintech, or cloud-based solutions to enterprise audiences.
  • Strong understanding of industry-specific regulatory, operational, and digital transformation trends within Greater China.
  • Demonstrated success building executive-level engagement programs, including C-suite roundtables and curated industry forums.
  • Excellent program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives across verticals and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to translate performance data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Experience working with industry associations, consulting firms, system integrators, or ecosystem partners to amplify reach and credibility.
  • High level of ownership, adaptability, and operational discipline within a fast-evolving market environment.
