As the Enterprise GTM Architect at Nextdoor, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our business systems landscape. This role focuses on CRM, Marketing Technology Modules, with expertise in Salesforce architecture, and Go-To-Market (GTM) systems with additional expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Lifecycle and Paid Marketing etc. You will collaborate across teams to architect scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency and align with Nextdoor’s strategic goals. This role is a blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution, requiring a leader who can both design cutting-edge IT solutions and roll up their sleeves to implement them.

The Impact You’ll Make
As the Enterprise GTM Architect, you will play a crucial role in leading the CRM and Marketing Business Systems team and driving the strategic direction of CRM and MarTech systems and ensuring scalable and optimized performance and integration.
As the Enterprise GTM Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Nextdoor’s enterprise GTM systems landscape by leveraging industry-leading frameworks like TOGAF to align business objectives with technology strategies and design and implement scalable architectures across critical domains such as Salesforce, Iterable, Segment, Twilio and GTM systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, you will ensure compliance with governance frameworks like SOX, maintain robust security controls, and foster innovation to support Nextdoor’s mission of building stronger communities."
Your responsibilities will include:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a scalable GTM and CRM systems strategy, with a strong focus on Salesforce modules, marketing technology platforms (e.g., Iterable), CDP platforms (e.g., Segment), and integration frameworks to drive Nextdoor’s growth and operational objectives
- Partner with cross-functional GTM, Marketing, Sales, and RevOps teams to define and deliver technology roadmaps that enhance customer engagement, data-driven marketing, and long-term business scalability
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior GTM leadership, translating business goals into actionable technology and integration plans that drive pipeline, velocity, and revenue impact
Enterprise Systems Design & Optimization
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce (Sales/Service/Marketing Clouds, Pardot, and modules), Iterable, Segment, and related GTM technology, ensuring seamless integration and real-time data flow across the customer lifecycle
- Oversee the configuration and enhancement of scalable solutions for lead-to-cash, campaign orchestration, and personalized marketing workflows using CRM, CDP, and automation platforms
- Leverage middleware tools like Workato to automate integrations between Salesforce, marketing technologies, third-party data providers, and analytics platforms
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, IT, and Product teams to ensure technical GTM solutions align with business priorities, customer experience standards, and revenue goals
- Translate complex CRM and MarTech concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders, driving understanding and buy-in
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to refine requirements, optimize GTM system capabilities, and maximize marketing/sales ROI
Compliance & Security
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as SOX, GDPR, and CCPA by implementing robust governance, security controls, and data management frameworks across GTM, CRM, and MarTech systems
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks in integrations and data flow, safeguarding customer and business-critical information
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Stay ahead of emerging MarTech, CRM, and data orchestration trends—including AI-driven marketing automation, personalization, and multi-channel engagement strategies
- Continuously assess existing Salesforce and GTM systems to identify inefficiencies, leading modernization and integration initiatives that unlock speed, scale, and smarter customer experiences with minimal disruption
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of GTM systems specialists with deep Salesforce, MarTech, and integration expertise, fostering a culture of open collaboration and ongoing learning
- Coach team members on CRM best practices, evolving MarTech architectures, integration design, and career growth
- Define team OKRs aligned to business pipeline, system performance, and enablement metrics
Operational Excellence
- Oversee the full lifecycle of GTM and CRM technology implementations, from architecture and planning to deployment and optimization, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
- Establish and monitor system and integration performance metrics, proactively addressing issues to ensure seamless GTM operations and customer insights
- Optimize value from vendor partnerships and technology investments—including contract negotiation, vendor management, and technology selection—in the GTM/MarTech ecosystem
- Participate in and support in-person Nextdoor events (trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and teammate engagement), strengthening team culture and advancing company mission
What You’ll Bring To The Team
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing Technology, or a related field
- 8+ years’ experience in GTM/CRM enterprise systems, Salesforce modules, integrations, and MarTech/RevOps platforms
- Expertise across Salesforce (Sales, Service, Marketing Clouds), plus Iterable or similar marketing automation tools, Segment or equivalent CDPs
- Exceptional experience building, integrating, and optimizing lead-to-cash flows, marketing orchestration, and data-driven campaign capabilities
- Deep hands-on experience with Workato or equivalent middleware, driving system integrations across SaaS platforms
- Strong knowledge of automation, workflow design, and enterprise software in the GTM/MarTech context
- Proven cross-functional leadership and deep understanding of Sales, Marketing, and Customer data lifecycles
- Experience leading and developing high-performing GTM systems teams
- Eagerness to explore and apply AI and emerging technologies to reimagine how work gets done
- Bonus Points: Salesforce/MarTech/CDP certifications

Rewards
Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create our total rewards package. Compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications. Compensation may also vary by geography.
The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $220,000 to $240,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role.
We expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With quarterly vesting, your first vest date will take place within 3 months of your start date.
