About The Role & Team

Our EMEA Development Trainee is dedicated to helping organizations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa transform their digital strategies through data-driven insights. We are looking for a highly organized and analytical placement student to join us for a 12-month sandwich year placement. This is a hybrid position, requiring three days per week in our London office, where you will play a critical role in supporting regional leadership and cross-functional partners. You will sit at the heart of our go-to-market engine, helping us identify market opportunities and ensure our largest customers are seeing maximum value from Amplitude.

As an EMEA Development Trainee, you will:

  • Work on customer-centricity programs and help build actionable plans focused on customer retention signals.
  • Help manage our "Top 50" customer program, ensuring our most strategic accounts receive high-touch engagement.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on market opportunities across the EMEA region to inform our growth strategy.
  • Track progress on identified "big bets" per sub-region, providing visibility into our most critical sales plays.
  • Liaise with SDRs, Marketing, and the Partner team to build pipelines and establish programmatic sales efforts.
  • Support initiatives to drive operational efficiency across the regional teams, helping us scale more effectively.

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • A growth mindset and the ability to operate independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong analytical skills—you enjoy digging into data to find trends and market opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate across different departments like Marketing and Partnerships.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a desire to take ownership of long-term projects.
  • An interest in enterprise SaaS, analytics, or B2B sales — you're curious about how data helps companies make better decisions and grow.

At a minimum, you need to have:

  • Currently enrolled in a sandwich year or placement year program at a UK university, with your university’s formal approval to undertake a 12-month industrial placement (required)
  • Able to commit to a full 12-month placement contract, working from our London office 3 days per week on a hybrid schedule. (required)
  • Full unrestricted right to work in the UK for the duration of the placement year (unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.) (required)
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal — additional European languages are a bonus given our EMEA focus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across different markets and sub-regions simultaneously.
