About the Role
- PCBA Design - board level architectures built around embedded Microcontrollers, SoCs and FPGAs to implement sensing, compute and control systems.
- DC-DC power supply design.
- Low noise and high bandwidth analog/mixed-signal circuits.
- Onboard and board-to-board high speed interfaces.
- Define and drive execution of hardware test/validation plans.
- Support of designs through their entire lifecycles - manufacturing, sustaining and debug of our production and test fleets.

- Excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment; advancing projects from concept/development phase through launch and mass production.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to help guide a cross functional team
- Ability to derive detailed bringup and validation plans to ensure robustness of designs
- Ability and skills necessary to drive a board design independently from concept through product end of life
About You
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of electrical design experience.
- Skilled in PCB design (schematic/layout), fabrication (working with manufacturer), bringup, and debug. Proficient with popular EDA tools.
- Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, power supplies, electronic loads, and other debugging tools.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (ie. Python or Bash)
Bonus Points
- Embedded SW development experience.
- High speed design knowledge.
- Experience leading validation across a distributed team.
At Nuro, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected base pay range is between $120,270 and $180,410 for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package.
