Benevity

Director, Product Management – Donate

at Benevity

Alberta, Calgary, Canada

Meet Benevity

Benevity is the way the world does good, providing companies (and their employees) with technology to take social action on the issues they care about. Through giving, volunteering, grantmaking, employee resource groups and micro-actions, we help most of the Fortune 100 brands build better cultures and use their power for good. We’re also one of the first B Corporations in Canada, meaning we’re as committed to purpose as we are to profits. We have people working all over the world, including Canada, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States and more!

As Director of Product Management for Donate, you will own the strategic vision and execution of Benevity’s flagship product line. With 15+ years of enterprise CSR SaaS experience, you bring both the breadth of product expertise and the depth of domain knowledge required to define the future of corporate giving.

You’ll act as a player-coach leader—developing and mentoring a high-performing team of product managers and owners while also engaging directly in client strategy, roadmap shaping, and feature delivery. This role is designed for a proven product leader who balances strategic vision, operational discipline, and hands-on execution, ensuring Benevity remains the standard in the enterprise donation space.

What you’ll do:

  • Team Leadership & Development

    • Lead and inspire a product team with clear goals, KPIs, and accountability for outcomes.
    • Serve as a player-coach: contributing directly to roadmap strategy, client discovery, and execution while developing team talent.
    • Build a culture of quality, research, and data fluency, ensuring decisions are client-centric and evidence-based.
    • Mentor PMs and POs in product craft, equipping them to drive innovation at scale.

    Strategic Planning & Execution

    • Define and communicate the Giving product vision and roadmap aligned to Benevity’s growth strategy.
    • Leverage CSR SaaS domain expertise to identify market opportunities and anticipate evolving client needs.
    • Translate usage data, client KPIs, and market signals into prescriptive product strategies.
    • Build compelling investment narratives that align executives and cross-functional partners around the Donate portfolio.

    Results Orientation

    • Own outcomes for the Donate product, continuously refining roadmap, processes, and resourcing to maximize impact.
    • Anticipate risks, spot diminishing returns early, and adjust priorities for strategic advantage.
    • Ensure high visibility of progress and measurable outcomes at the executive level.

What you’ll bring:

  • 15+ years of enterprise CSR SaaS experience, with 5+ years in senior product leadership roles.
  • Deep domain expertise in CSR, corporate giving, money movement, and global disbursement strategies.
  • Proven ability to deliver enterprise-grade, scalable solutions across highly regulated and complex environments.
  • Strong background in omni-channel engagement strategies (SMS, email, collaboration tools integration).
  • AI and innovation mindset: experience applying AI and automation to accelerate product delivery and enhance client engagement.
  • Player-coach leadership style: trusted mentor and hands-on contributor, equally comfortable in the boardroom or the sprint review.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence, with a track record of aligning stakeholders and influencing at scale.
