Upgrade is hiring a Director of Home Improvement Revenue Operations. We are looking for a utility player with a high ceiling, someone who can toggle seamlessly between high-level revenue strategy and "in the weeds" execution. You will own the operational engine of our Home Improvement vertical, serving as the connective tissue between Home Improvement and multiple other departments. This is not a traditional RevOps role where you stare at Salesforce dashboards all day. This is a strategic "fixer" role. You will run the RevOps organization, but you will also handle the tactile financial details, liaise with legal on complex deals, and ensure our physical and cultural environment (training and office management) is optimized for performance.

What You’ll Do:

  • Run the RevOps Org: Oversee the end-to-end revenue process for the Home Improvement vertical. Ensure data integrity, accurate forecasting, and friction-free sales processes.
  • Communications: Drafts reports, presentations, and correspondence; ensures consistent messaging; and prepares briefing materials.
  • Strategic Support: Translates executive vision into actionable plans, drives strategic initiatives, and serves as a sounding board.
  • Project & Initiative Leadership: Leads cross-functional projects, coordinates efforts across teams, and ensures alignment with organizational goals.
  • Pricing Strategy & Analysis: Deep dive into pricing models and margin analysis. You will evaluate current pricing structures and recommend adjustments to maximize profitability without sacrificing velocity.
  • The Bridge to Legal: Serve as the primary operational liaison between the Revenue teams and Legal/Compliance and other stakeholders.
  • Contract Review: Review non-standard terms and vendor agreements before they escalate to Legal, ensuring commercial viability and compliance with internal playbooks.
  • Audit & Control: Regularly audit operational expenses and revenue inputs to ensure the "Home Improvement" P&L remains healthy. Operational Management: Oversees daily office operations, manages executive calendars, and ensures smooth workflow.
  • Ad Hoc "Special Projects": You will tackle undefined challenges as they arise. Whether it’s planning an offsite, fixing a broken workflow, or stepping in to lead a meeting, you are the ultimate pinch hitter.

What We Look For:

Required skills and qualifications

  • 7+ years in a strategic business management or executive operational role.
  • Experience leading multiple teams and departments.
  • Strong understanding of Customer Success (post-sale journey, retention, empathy).
  • Working knowledge of legal/compliance; ability to read a contract and identify risks.
  • Expertise in Revenue Operations (pipelines, data analysis, scalable processes).
  • Proven experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and dedication to efficient productivity.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or similar field
  • Experience in data analysis and budget management
  • Consulting experience, with a focus on operations management
  • Proven success in a project coordination role
  • Nimble business mind, focused on developing creative solutions
  • Strong project-reporting skills, with focus on interdepartmental communications

What We Offer You

  • Competitive salary and stock option plan
  • 100% paid coverage of medical, dental and vision insurance
  • Competitive 401(k) program
  • Flexible PTO
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development
  • Paid parental leave
  • Health & wellness initiatives
