Are you a charismatic application developer advocate at heart, someone who excels in bringing the community together, loves hosting and presenting at events, and has deep technical expertise in application development?
As a Databricks Developer Advocate on the Neon DevRel team, you’ll be a crucial link between our engineering teams and the broad community of application developers building their projects on Postgres and Neon. This role will leverage your technical expertise to support, inspire, and educate our growing user base, with a focus on engaging developers already using Neon.
Your responsibilities will center on community engagement and encompass a wide range of knowledge-sharing activities. You’ll deliver engaging talks, host insightful meetups and community calls, create informative blogs and video content, share best practices in community forums, and highlight developer success stories. These efforts will not only inspire but also support the Neon community, helping developers grow their skills and build more effectively with Neon, turning their experiences into lasting advocacy.
Community engagement will be at the heart of your role. You’ll work closely with the neon.com community and our product and engineering teams, ensuring that developer needs and product development stay aligned. You will collaborate with fellow advocates and program managers, and partner with the broader Databricks DevRel org, to create and execute a cohesive and impactful community strategy.
The ideal candidate will embody the values of our Developer Relations team: a passion for application development, genuine empathy for developer needs, and strong communication skills to explain our products clearly and effectively.
You’ll use your skills to educate and grow the Neon community, creating technical content and experiences that empower developers. At the same time, you’ll gather and share community feedback to continuously improve the developer experience.
