Key Responsibilities

• Clean, preprocess, and validate datasets to ensure quality and consistency.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends and support hypothesis generation.
• Build and evaluate basic predictive models (regression, classification) with guidance.
• Support simple NLP tasks (e.g., text cleaning, keyword extraction).
• Create visualizations and dashboards for internal stakeholders using Power BI.
• Document processes and collaborate with Data Scientists L2/L3 and Data Engineers.

Must-have Skills 

• Expert-level experience in Azure Databricks
• Bachelor's in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and basic ML methods.
• Proficiency in Python, pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
• Basic SQL skills for data extraction and wrangling.
• Familiarity with visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn) or BI tools.
• Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn.

Nice-to-have:

• AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
• Exposure to Spark or Databricks.
• Experience with MLflow, Git, or Docker.
• Internship or project experience in applied data science.
