About the Opportunity

As a Customer Lifecycle Manager you will help customers realize the fullest value of Contentful. You’ll support lifecycle campaigns that ultimately drive revenue, while focusing on ways to better engage with our customers. You will be a part of the Demand Generation function within Contentful’s Marketing team and collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, Field, and other functions within Marketing to develop and execute global integrated, customer journey-driven campaigns and programs. 

What to expect? 

  • Execute lifecycle campaigns and programs that encourage customers to adopt, realize, and expand their value of Contentful
  • Develop, execute, analyze, and optimize targeted, multi-channel, B2B marketing programs, activities, and tactics to enhance the customer journey, including efforts for key expansion, upgrade and upsell, and cross-sell touchpoints 
  • Collaborate with CS, PMM, and Product to identify high-value behaviors and build programs that reinforce the customer journey and drive customer engagement
  • Review campaign and program performance, compile lessons learned, and communicate recommendations for improvement to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with and project manage cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure deliverables are on time and on budget
  • Provide regular reporting of progress and results
  • Navigate complex workflows, working relationships, and regional differences to be part of a collaborative working environment

What you need to be successful

  • 4+ years customer lifecycle marketing, SaaS experience required
  • Proven track record of creating and executing successful customer lifecycle campaigns that have resulted in increased customer engagement and revenue
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, buyer personas, and customer journey mapping
  • Ability to pull and analyze data and make informed decisions for future performance
  • Experience working for a fast-growing B2B software company, where there are multiple go-to-market motions 
  • Experience in executing lifecycle campaigns and programs, including collaboration with: Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, Content, Web, Paid Media, Demand Generation, Marketing Ops, Marketing Analytics, Field Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams
  • Experience using marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, Eloqua or Pardot
  • Experience with Salesforce.com

This role will need to be conducted in a state in which we are currently registered to do business.

Salary Statement: The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of California if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.

Salary Range: $157,000 - $213,000
[This position is eligible for equity awards in accordance with the terms of Contentful’s equity plans.]
