Culinary Partnership Development Specialist

Our Culinary Partnership Development Specialist plays an essential role in ensuring we provide the highest quality Culinary Partners for our Clients. In this role, you will own the relationship and strategy for our Culinary Partners. Success in this role requires a strong background in menu development, negotiation, and management of external partners. The ideal candidate has the ability to critically identify key market trends and demand, and work collaboratively across geographies and departments.

You thrive in an environment of change, are not phased by shifts in priorities, and are always ready to jump in to help, whether achieving goals within their designated department, or rolling up your sleeves to assist with a cross functional project.  You will have the opportunity to lead strategic projects based on business key initiatives to further the growth of the business overall. We are a growing start up, and at times we veer outside of our usual lanes to fill in gaps as business needs arise! 

What you will do:

  • Utilize data analytics to proactively identify and develop strategic menus to increase market presence and ensure that our Clients have access to the highest quality offerings at every price point.  Unlock the potential in all partners by finding opportunities to develop menus beyond standard offerings.  
  • Engage and coach Culinary Partners to develop and add menus to their catering line of business and monitor performance standards to ensure the long term success of the partnership.  Fine tune offerings over time using data analytics, helping to grow partnership capabilities over time.  
  • Work with Culinary Partners to provide data driven analytical insight regarding pricing strategy and tailor menu offerings to successfully meet evolving market demand needs.  Negotiate pricing using market analysis and client demand insights to maintain strong coverage for all clients. 
  • Collaborate with Sales, Food Experience and Account Management teams, using network coverage data analysis, to identify new menu offerings to target within our menu ecosystem based on client and market needs and to as appropriate to solve meal issues that arise.  
  • Utilize network coverage data to proactively fill gaps in markets and develop specific menu demand to solve the most important client needs.  Effectively prioritizes opportunities, communicating timelines, deadlines and updates to achieve timely results.  Analyzes feedback to quickly identify opportunities for improvements in food quality across the network, driving client satisfaction.   

Qualifications for Success: 

  • 2+ years of account management and menu development experience, ideally in restaurant or hospitality industries
  • Proven track record of driving key initiatives with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management and prioritization abilities
  • Skilled in using CRM tools, Google Suite, and analytics tools
  • Collaborative team player who has managed dynamic relationships with enterprise culinary partners

*This role does require you to be based in New York City so that you can do regular visits to our culinary partners.

Compensation: Base salary range $67k-$75k + 15% bonus potential
