This individual will serve as a central coordinator across multiple business units and will lead productive discussions, ensure timely remediation of issues, and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and bank partners (where required). They will also lead a small team of analysts and associates who are tasked with the execution of various tasks to coordinate, track, document, report, and move issues forward to closure. The ideal candidate has strong project management experience in a fintech and/or highly regulated environment, is detail-oriented, and can drive accountability across all levels of the company. This is a hybrid role in our San Francisco office in a hybrid capacity, specifically on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Delegate specific tasks and responsibilities to the team in order to ensure successful completion of these duties.
  • Serve as the central project manager throughout the lifecycle of each compliance issue, coordinating across business units to ensure timely execution of remediation plans and accountability for deliverables.
  • Maintain day-to-day oversight of issue status and progress, escalating as appropriate to senior leadership.
  • Cultivate relationships with bank partners and internal teams such as Operations, Legal, Product, Investor, People Ops and Technology.
  • Document issue lifecycle activity clearly and comprehensively, ensuring audit-readiness.

What We Look For:

  • 6+ years of risk management, compliance, or audit experience.
  • 3+ years of people management experience.
  • Prior experience in a project management role within a fintech and/or highly regulated environment, with strong organizational skills to track, manage, and oversee closure of multiple issues simultaneously.
  • Ability to lead discussions, influence outcomes, think critically, and work effectively with responsible business units across the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to synthesize and summarize multiple concepts and perspectives to various audiences in order to drive outcomes.

  • High level of proficiency with standard computer systems and applications. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, with the ability to understand and adapt to new tools and processes quickly.

What We Offer You:

  • Competitive salary and stock option plan
