About the role
As a Compensation Analyst, you’ll help design, implement, and administer our global compensation programs to ensure we attract, motivate, and retain top talent. You’ll partner closely with People Operations and business leaders to deliver competitive, equitable, and compliant pay practices. This is a high-impact opportunity in a dynamic environment that will allow you to shape and influence the future of Crunchtime’s total rewards strategy.
As a Compensation Analyst, you’ll serve as a trusted subject matter expert and strategic thought partner to leaders and People Ops colleagues. You’ll lead the way on market analysis, program design, and compensation best practices - ensuring everything is competitive, fair, and in line with the company’s values and goals.
What you’ll do as a Compensation Analyst
- Analyze, model, and benchmark base pay, incentive, and equity programs to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Lead complex compensation projects, such as annual merit cycles, salary structure reviews, job leveling, and pay equity analyses.
- Develop and lead variable compensation and incentive plans that drive business results and team engagement.
- Develop and deliver tools, dashboards, and compensation reports for HR and business leaders.
- Maintain and update compensation data in HRIS and market pricing systems.
- Support the design and implementation of new compensation policies and programs that align with business goals and local regulations.
- Create clear, compelling communication and training materials for managers and employees.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in compensation.
- Participate in and analyze salary surveys; manage relationships with survey vendors.
- Assist with executive and equity compensation analyses as needed.
- Continuously seeking process improvements and automation opportunities to make everything smoother and smarter.
What we’re looking for
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in compensation analysis or consulting, preferably in a global environment
- Solid knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation methodologies, and market pricing tools (e.g., Radford, Pave, or similar).
- Experience leading large comp projects and building pay programs from the ground up.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and data modeling expertise; experience with HRIS (Rippling)
- Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Has a demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance, proactively manages tasks and priorities across multiple projects, analyzes and executes work efficiently, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrives in fast-paced, results-driven environments.
