The Opportunity 

We are seeking an elite operator to act as a mission-critical force multiplier - the person who ensures the entire Engineering organization is focused, aligned, and running at peak effectiveness as we scale the future of Payments within Fintech.


You are the CTO’s strategic partner and organizational architect. This is a demanding role with massive ownership for someone eager to define a scaling Engineering function.

 

What You'll Do: The Mandate

Your job is to maximize the CTO's time and amplify Engineering's impact across the company.

  • Own the Operating Discipline: Ensure the CTO is focused only on the highest-leverage items and that the Engineering leadership team is operating effectively and with rhythm.
  • Orchestrate Execution: Oversee the planning and execution of all key strategic programs (e.g., promotions, talent planning) and cross-functional initiatives. Ensure clear ownership and high-tempo delivery across all workstreams.
  • Act as Signal Multiplier & Proxy: Proactively surface critical issues and strategic risks well before they escalate. You will be the primary delegated interface for cross-functional partners and an external liaison to investors and industry groups.
  • Constant Alignment: Drive consensus and build strong, trusting relationships across all levels of the organization. Act as the critical translation layer, synthesizing and aligning the needs of engineering.

Who You Are: The Essential Profile

We're seeking a high-EQ leader who runs toward the hardest problems.

  • Exceptional Operator: 4+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Business Operations, or a Chief of Staff (or similar) role, ideally supporting a large-scale Engineering organization.
  • Analytical Leader: A highly analytical, structured thinker with the ability to simplify immense complexity and drive systemic, long-term resolution.
  • Trusted Partner: High EQ, humble, and direct. You build trust seamlessly and are comfortable providing unvarnished, constructive feedback to senior leadership.
  • Master Communicator: Possesses exceptional communication skills to craft executive narratives, manage internal transparency, and represent the CTO externally.
  • Domain Fit: A strong understanding of the Fintech industry (specifically payments) and significant experience working with engineering leadership dynamics.
  • Adaptable: A proactive self-starter prepared to travel regularly to meet with global teams.
