You will turn performance data into action and maintain the operational pulse of the network.

What You Will Do:

Execute Carrier Performance & Accountability

  • Daily Operational Lead: Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day engagements with national and regional carriers.
  • Performance Monitoring: Conduct weekly carrier sessions and monthly deep-dives to track compliance with SLAs, focusing specifically on OTP and OTD excellence.
  • Rapid Resolution: Act as the first point of escalation for real-time performance issues, executing recovery programs to mitigate merchant impact.
  • Dashboard Management: Maintain and utilize reporting dashboards to ensure partners are consistently meeting performance thresholds.

Support Strategic Initiatives & Procurement

  • RFP Support: Assist the Senior Manager in the execution of RFPs by gathering requirements and validating carrier data for parcel and regional delivery modes.
  • Financial Integrity: Perform regular audits of carrier invoices to identify discrepancies and ensure billing accuracy across the network.
  • Operational Implementation: Help execute "Special Ops" and strategic initiatives by translating long-term plans into actionable daily tasks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Bridge Tech & Ops: Work with internal Product and Engineering teams to troubleshoot tool issues and provide feedback on operational pain points.
  • Warehouse Alignment: Partner closely with Warehouse and Fulfillment teams to ensure smooth hand-offs at injection points.
  • SOP Development: Draft and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new carrier integrations and compliance frameworks.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience: 4-6+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations, with a focus on parcel or trucking networks.
  • Carrier Management: Proven experience in a "front-line" role managing carrier performance and holding partners accountable to SLAs.
  • Data Proficiency: Strong ability to use SQL and BI tools (Looker, Tableau) to analyze parcel data and track KPIs.
  • Problem Solving: A proactive mindset with the ability to handle high-pressure escalations and navigate operational ambiguity.
  • Communication: Strong professional communication skills to manage external partners firmly and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
