About The Role & Team

Our Solutions Engineering (SE) team is a group of technical storytellers who show our customers exactly how Amplitude can solve their toughest product challenges. As an intern, you will join our fast-paced North America (NAMER) Velocity team to help scale our technical sales efforts. This role is based in our San Francisco headquarters, where we collaborate in person 2-3 days a week to build the future of digital analytics.

As an Associate Solutions Engineer Intern, you will:

  • Deliver technical support and high-impact product demos to our NAMER Velocity Sales team.
  • Assist in crafting compelling demo stories and building technical environments for use across the Global SE team.
  • Support Demo Operations projects to maintain and improve our core product demonstration infrastructure.
  • Partner with seasoned SEs to learn how to translate complex technical features into clear business value for our customers.

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • A growth mindset and a "hungry learner" attitude toward mastering new technical platforms.
  • Strong communication skills and an interest in presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences.
  • A collaborative spirit and the initiative to take ownership of projects that help the broader team scale.
  • Curiosity about the intersection of data, AI, and sales strategy.

At a minimum, you need to have:

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program (Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related technical/business field preferred).
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the 12-week summer program.
  • Ability to relocate to San Francisco and work from our HQ on a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in-office per week).
  • A foundational understanding of web technologies or data structures.
