We are looking for an enthusiastic and curious Associate Software Engineer to join the Modeling Integrations team at our new Engineering Capability Center in Gurugram, India. As a member of our Causal Modeling organization, you will support the team in building the solutions that enhance the Anaplan platform. This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career, learn from experienced engineers, and grow within a team that embraces new ideas and is passionate about success.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Assist the team in designing, developing, and testing new features.

Help build and maintain front-end systems, backend services, and APIs.

Focus on writing clean, readable, and well-tested code while learning best practices from the team.

Actively participate in an Agile process, collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers.

Learn from and pair with senior engineers to solve problems and grow your skills.

Your Skills & Potential

A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience of minimum 2-5 years from personal projects or bootcamps.

Foundational knowledge of modern web development, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

A basic understanding of, or a strong desire to learn, a front-end framework like React.

An interest in backend development and learning how to build scalable services.

An eagerness to learn about software quality and automated testing.

Good problem-solving abilities and a curiosity for how things work.

Great communication skills and a passion for teamwork and learning.

Bonus Points (Not Required)

Any exposure to languages like Java, Kotlin, or Python.

Familiarity with concepts like Docker or cloud platforms.

Experience with group projects (academic or personal).

Front-End: React, TypeScript, Redux, GraphQL, Playwright, Jest, Vite.

Back-End: Java, Kotlin, Spring Framework.

Infrastructure & DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Helm.
