We're seeking an Product Management Intern for our Security Product Management team to help deliver enterprise security products. In this role you’ll work on a variety of security technologies such as IAM, Encryption, Resource-based policies, and more.
We’re looking for motivated and talented students to help us build the next-generation enterprise security technologies. As an intern, you will work directly with MongoDB’s product managers, software engineers, and various teams within the larger R&D org including marketing, UX design, and analytics. You will be fully integrated into the team, understanding and analyzing users’ needs and pain points, and advocating on their behalf to improve the product. You will synthesize various data sources, and discuss technical solutions and tradeoffs with engineers and designers to create new product requirements and experiences. You will also refine and communicate the product strategy to relevant stakeholders.
What we are looking for in you
- In the process of receiving a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, or a related field
- Technical skills; while not expected to write production code, you should be comfortable diving into design and code logic, learning from existing examples, exploring security products, triaging bugs, analyzing support cases, and speaking on any of the technical aspects of the tools in your portfolio
- Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback sessions to identify new opportunities and mike build vs buy recommendations
- Have a minimum of one quarter/semester remaining in university studies after the internship concludes. Graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.

MongoDB internships are full-time (40 hours/week) for 10 consecutive weeks lasting from dates in June until August. All interns are considered hybrid employees, designated the "in office" working model and are expected to be in their office location 3-5 days a week.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package.
