User Acquisition Manager

The User Acquisition team at Zynga is looking for an experienced and accomplished User Acquisition performance marketer, who will acquire users for Zynga’s growing mobile portfolio. This individual will focus on leveraging Paid Social Channels, Ad Networks, and DSPs to scale our current marketing efforts. You will be responsible for helping the team identify and develop mobile acquisition strategies, and work closely with data analysts and the marketing creative team to further improve the campaign performance. You are an experienced quantitative online marketer who can manage multiple priorities while delivering outstanding execution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage user acquisition, and retargeting campaigns on self-serve and managed platforms
  • Lead the optimization efforts across creative, geo, platform, and channel to maximize returns and scale products and deliver performance at scale.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and marketing creative teams to identify scaling opportunities and further improve the campaign performance
  • Develop relationships with advertising partners and networks to test new traffic sources
  • Drive innovation on game division level investments
  • Support the creative direction of our advertising asset needs to ensure top performance
  • Daily, weekly, and quarterly budget forecasting and reporting of results.
  • Conduct competitive research and present actionable findings.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years experience in media buying for mobile app products (leveraging Paid Social, Ad Networks, and DSPs)
  • Strong, problem solving, and critical-thinking skills and experience working in metrics-based environment
  • Experience – and a desire – to do both strategic planning and day-to-day execution/optimization
  • Experience with Tableau, advanced Excel and Mobile Measurement Partners (i.e. Adjust, Appsflyer, Singular, Kochava).
  • Outstanding communication and client skills – both written and spoken – to work effectively with our cross-functional partners
  • Experience working with organizations with mixed talent backgrounds.


  • Hands-on experience with SQL with the ability to pull together data needs from multiple sources
  • Experience working with $1M+ monthly advertising budgets.
  • Experience scaling games to top 100 grossing
