Social Impact Program Manager
We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Social Impact Program Manager with a strong background in program management and internal employee engagement. You understand the critical role businesses and the non-profit sector play in collaborating to address today’s world challenges. You have strong relationship-building skills and a strategic mindset.
As a key contributor to the Social Impact team, you will drive positive change across local and global initiatives, aligning with Adyen's mission and values. Your core responsibilities will include developing and managing a suite of community and impact programs and partnerships that are supported by Adyen’s the 1% fund for the UN SDGs. Your goal will be to scale Adyen’s local community impact and support for global causes, fostering meaningful contributions to sustainability and social impact.
What You’ll Work On
- Own Adyen’s global volunteering program enabling our employees to make a positive impact where we operate
- Maintain and support a strong community of local Impact Champions across 28 offices enabling volunteering, donations and in-kind contributions
- Work closely with Social Impact partnership managers to deliver high-impact employee engagement opportunities with strategic nonprofit partners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate social impact and volunteering into key business moments and operations such as company-wide events
- Support management of Adyen’s 1% fund for the UN SDGs including grant and Committee management
- Identify opportunities for Adyen Social Impact to solve for challenges in the charity landscape with our technology, merchant network and expertise
- Gather measurable results and data to report and share impactful stories that inspire and empower Adyen Social Impact’s stakeholders
- Drive internal and external awareness of the company's volunteering, grants and other impact initiatives
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience in program management or strategy management within the technology industry, combined with 1-2 years of experience in CSR or the Social Impact field
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Analytical and data-driven, with experience leveraging data to drive decision-making, storytelling and reporting
- Always seek to find solutions and innovative new approaches
- Experience working confidently and effectively across multiple cultures and timezones
- Driven to build the bridge between private and non-profit organisations
- Ability to work closely with internal and external senior leadership
- Preferred experience working with software solutions or a volunteering/CSR platform
