Regulatory Analyst
Our APAC Regulatory team is looking for an additional regulatory compliance manager to join us. This is a role that will execute on a variety of duties across our APAC markets including regulatory reporting, regulatory radar scanning, corporate governance, audit management and file management matters. The successful candidate must be able to work as a business partner with a wide range of teams, including data analytics, finance, support, risk, legal, commercial and external partners to provide prompt and reactive support to build sustainable growth.
What you’ll do
- Serve as regulatory compliance manager for the APAC Regulatory team
- Work on and project manage regulatory reporting obligations in various APAC markets
- Take ownership of regulatory horizon scanning and provide timely updates to team members
- Manage corporate governance and secretarial work for APAC entities
- Assist with and project manage audits, inspections and remediations
- Take ownership of file management matters for the APAC Regulatory team
- Assist with legal research from time to time
- Assist with various administrative and ad hoc operational matters for the APAC Regulatory team
Who you are
- You will have at least 2-3 years’ experience in a support function within a legal or compliance team
- You will have experience working within a fast-paced legal or compliance team
- You are comfortable navigating the grey and thinking quick on your feet
- You are a meticulous person with strong attention to detail
- You are fully proficient in English
- You are proficient with word processing and spreadsheet software
- You will have some working experience in an international organisation
- You will have solid interpersonal skills, specifically you will be able to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders from varying disciplines and cultures
- Your strong sense of initiative and self-motivation will add value to a fast-paced business
