About the Role

As HR Business Partner at Media.Monks, you will operate within the EMEA HR Team, reporting to the Regional Deputy HR Director, and working from our Milan office.

In this hands-on role, and working closely with local HR colleagues across EMEA, you will coordinate HR initiatives for a Client Team of 300+ Monks, partnering with the Client Leadership Team on HR projects that align with the organisation's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

Serving as the key HR Business Partner on a cross-country Client Team of 300+ Monks, you will work closely with local HR teams across EMEA to both coordinate and collect guidance on:

  • Local employee relations topics
  • Performance Management
  • Compensation & Benefits 
  • Organisational design projects
  • People Engagement initiatives
  • People Experience Initiatives
  • New HR processes recommendation, development and execution as required to grow the business

Organisation Effectiveness 

  • Establish ways of working to do more with less, nimble execution, and high collaboration. Ensure both strategy and execution of tactics are addressed in all aspects of HR.
  • Take the lead in ensuring that a comprehensive set of operational policies are in place, staff have been trained and compliance is verified. Facilitate the review and development of existing policies and procedures to reflect the needs of a growing and dynamic organisation. 
  • Identify and implement improvement to the team’s processes. Strengthen the delivery and execution of our HR programs, operations and services that enhance our employee experience. 
  • Oversee compliance with all employment laws and partner with People Business Partners to communicate findings to leadership

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to prioritise workload and self-manage projects; demonstrates initiative and manages multiple, competing priorities
  • As part of the job, you will be expected to have an optimistic approach to challenges. This means that you are able to remain positive in difficult situations and look for solutions.
  • HR experience in a high growth and fast pace company
  • Experience with core HR domains, including employee relations, performance management
  • Experience with people data analytics; ability to influence with data

 

About You

  • At least 5 years of experience in an HR function or equivalent degree and experience.
  • Demonstrated success as an Business Partner supporting 100+ employees 
  • Hands-o style, approachable 
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment 
  • Committed to highest ethical standards, data integrity, established process, documentation, and to continuous learning.
  • Proven organisational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritse
  • Fluency in English a must
  • International HR experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with Labour Law of Countries in EMEA is a plus
  • Experience with Workday is  a plus
