The Role:

We are seeking a results-driven Lead Account Executive, Sponsorships to join our growing team. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth as a leader and as a player-coach.  The objective is to dramatically grow the Product School business by securing sponsorships and foster partnerships with businesses looking to maximize their brand exposure. As a player-coach, you will provide strategy and team effectiveness while also providing direct contribution to the sponsorship goal. If you possess excellent communication and sales skills, and you thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What you'll do:

  • Be a leader implementing and following a well defined sales process and plan ensuring strong growth with predictable forecasted outcomes.
  • Manage a small but highly effective team focused on sponsorship sales constantly looking for ways to creatively yet systematically grow sales and relationships.
  • Be a hunter, constantly identifying new opportunities for sponsorship and ad space sales; developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of sponsorship opportunities.
  • Exceed the sponsorship goal as well as your own personal goal effectively managing a large book of business– over $3million in annual sales.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to showcase packages and create engaging presentations.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing sponsors and clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and act as an engaged leader for all sponsor inquiries and concerns.

This role could be a good fit for you if:

  • You have 2 - 3 years of sales leadership with an additional 3-5 years experience in B2B sales; bonus points if you have proven experience in sponsorship sales, advertising sales, or a similar role.
  • You are well versed in a managing deal flow from top to bottom of the funnel for your team while also delivering results yourself.
  • You are a passionate coach who elevates your team through leadership by example and through hands-on guidance.
  • You have exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and are comfortable forging relationships with executives.
  • You are a self-starter, who thrives in a metrics driven environment, exceeding your goal.
  • You take ownership of the organization, and are comfortable driving campaigns in Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • You have sold products with six figure price tags, and can effectively explain the ROI to leadership.

The national base salary range (OR the national hourly range for nonexempt positions) offered for this position is below. Please note this is a range and actual salary may vary based on work experience and qualifications, performance, and other factors evaluated during the hiring process.  Additionally, some compensation packages may have varying components, including but not limited to performance bonus, commissions, and equity.

$80,000$110,000 USD
