The Team & Role
The Zuora APAC team is building on its momentum in M&E creating a Segment specific sales role.
Zuora has recently structured itself around key market segments (SAAS, Media & Entertainment, Enterprise B2B) this sales role will be responsible for the Media & Entertainment segment including new business & customer expansion initiatives. The geographical scope of the role is Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore. The role will be based in Sydney.
This role reports into the GM of APAC and is well supported by local Solution Consultants, Customer Success, & a team of Technical Architects. The local team will collaborate closely with Zuora’s global M&E Product & Engineering. This relationship facilitates a feedback loop leveraging collective knowledge & global best practice. Additionally, providing APAC sourced feedback, ensuring Zuora’s Global roadmap remains in continual alignment with APAC Customers.
What you’ll do
- Create & execute an annual plan to meet or exceed new logo acquisition & cross-sell goals
- Identify target accounts & devise engagement strategies
- Familiarize yourself with APAC M&E Customers current state & future objectives
- Become a trusted source of value to your prospects & customers
- Earn pipeline through demonstrable success in M&E, networking & word of mouth
- Actively communicate M&E market trends and criteria to Global Solutions Managers
- Provide accurate forecasting & maintain high levels of CRM hygiene
Your experience
- 5+ years of B2B Sales Experience to Mid Market & Enterprise accounts
- Has built successful customers with mission critical technology solutions
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets greater than 1 million USD per year
- Proven ability to, lead small teams of disparate functions
- Operate with accountability, transparency & integrity
Nice to haves:
- Experience selling into the M&E technical ecosystem
- Established network and credibility in M&E
- Sales experience with financial systems (ERP, Accounting, Payments)

Location & Work Arrangements
This is a Sydney based hybrid position, so you will work both remotely and in the office. Zuora currently designates 2-3 days per week as in-office to promote efficiency & collaboration with local team members.
