Engineering System Administrator

Algolia is a mature, post-series D SaaS company focused on AI driven search as a service. We are looking for an Engineering System Administrator to join the IT team with a primary focus on owning and administering SaaS tools for our Product and Engineering teams. This is a succession position that will be split 50/50 in application development and engineering SaaS stack management. This position will be classified as partial remote, with 2-3 days in the Paris office. This position may have up to 10% travel.

System Administration Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver best-in-class configuration and administration for GitHub and Datadog over the next 9 - 12 months.
- After GitHub and Datadog mastering, design and improve of current Enterprise IAM standards to the R&D application stack.
- Manage internal stakeholder and vendor relationships while building processes that align to business needs.
- Expand IT’s operational excellence to partner teams within the R&D organization.
SaaS Responsibilities:
- Learn the complex SaaS environment inside of Algolia from an automation and stack management perspective.
- Propose improvements in stack maintenance and execute them.
- Identify ideal targets for procurement and sunset.
Requirements:
- Excellent spoken and written English & French language skills.
- A Degree in Computer Science, IT or its equivalent.
- 3+ years of technical support or project experience.
- 4+ years managing SaaS environments.
- This is a FTE role.
